Welcome Actors!

 

We are always looking for fresh new faces to add to our principal casting database for upcoming projects!

Please note, we do NOT work directly with talent under the age of 18, talent who are outside of the Mid-Atlantic region, or talent who do NOT have prior professional acting/modeling/voice over experience.

If you have NOT gone through our open call process (being invited to our office to perform a monologue and a cold read and given paperwork), even if you have been booked through us, you are NOT officially in our principal casting database. All open calls are by invitation only!

We are accepting physical submissions via postal mail. You can mail your headshot/resume, comp card, and/or voice over demo to our office:

It is suggested to send a Self Addressed & Stamped Postcard in with your materials if you would like to confirm receipt. We will mail back your Postcard once we receive your materials.

We are pleased to announce that we have a new submission policy for new talent to be added to our database for Principal Casting consideration!

We are now also accepting electronic submissions! For consideration, email Submissions@carlyndaviscasting.com with your headshot, resume, comp card, and/or voice over demos. All headshots, comp cards, and photos MUST be in .jpg format and under 500 MB. All resumes MUST be in .doc or .pdf format. All voice over demos should be in .mp3 format.

Please attach all materials to your submission email. We will not open links, visit talent websites, download from links, go to personal online storage accounts, etc.

Please be sure to include all contact phone numbers either on your resume or in the body of the email. If you do not have a DC/MD/VA area code, please be sure to indicate in which city/state you live, and if you live outside of the DC Metro/Baltimore area, please indicate whether or not you’d be willing to work as a local DC/Baltimore hire.

IF YOUR SUBMISSION DOES NOT FOLLOW THE ABOVE FORMAT, IT WILL BE DELETED.

We will contact only those with whom we are interested in meeting and potentially adding to our principal talent database.

If you are called, you will be asked to audition in front of our staff before we will place you in front of our clients.

 

ATTENTION ALL ACTORS AND ACTRESSES!!!!

If we send you to a shoot and youd like a copy of the completed product, it is YOUR responsibility to obtain one. Please keep in mind that the client is NOT obligated to give you a copy.

The best way to get a copy is to KINDLY ask the producer/director to send you a copy AFTER THE SHOOT. Often, clients will send a digital copy for download for you to include in your video demo and/or for personal use. Thank you.
